My favorite meal in Kyoto and one that I'm still dreaming about until now! I made a reservation via Google maps tablelog to be sure that I would get a seat. Order is via their tablet and I got the hamburger steak with camembert and it was beyond delicious. I was so happy with the meat, cheese, sauce and little pops of chili. It was my last day in Kyoto but how I wish I could go back again to have this.

The food is great, with lots of options and an English menu with the tablet. Got the wagyu onion burger with rice and corn soup, and it was all delicious! I also highly recommend getting a glass of plum wine on the rocks. The only complaint is that the burger was well done when ordered rare, but it was still super tender and moist.

Probably the best hamburg steak I've ever had. I got the hamburg with tomato and cheese while my fiance got hamburg with mushrooms. Both were absolutely delicious. The hamburg patty is perfectly cooked with a nice pan fried crust on the outside and a melt-in-your-mouth texture inside. The tomato paired perfectly with my hamburg because it balanced out the savoriness of the the hamburg steak. We got the oysters as an appetizer and they were also delicious. They don't hold a candle to how amazing the hamburg steak is though. Service: Everyone was kind and welcoming. You choose your food on a tablet and the food service was quick. Highly recommend this restaurant and am itching to come back when I'm in the area.

Absolutely loved this place! The staff was very friendly and it's easy to order In English on their tablet provided on each table. We stayed and had drinks and dinner. Very pleasant experience.

A 5-minute walk from Karasuma Station, I came to HAMBURG LABO. This time, I ordered 100% Kyoto beef hamburger steak M size (1,500 yen). The restaurant you checked! From the counter seats, you can observe how chef bake on the iron plate. Arrived in about 15 minutes, medium baked, soft and full of gravy. You can leave it as it is without the sauce and/or enjoy it twice with the Demiglass sauce. The red miso soup is also delicious. A wonderful restaurant that focuses on local production for local consumption, it was a feast ♪ ♪ (^ ^)

Excellent food, very friendly staff, cosy warm atmosphere. Had the camembert pork and beef, and the cube steak. All very delicious, and a bonus getting a counter seat with views of the cooking. Definitely recommended for anyone visiting Kyoto, what a place!

We came twice on our stays at Kyoto.. Succulent juicy hamburg.. Their oyster also very great.. But the most important, the service is very good.. Kakkoi oniisan Yoshio-san is very friendly, its like find new brother.. Very recommended restauran.. :)
